EVERY TUESDAY & THURSDAY EVENING, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
ALL LEVELS COMBINED: BEGINNING TO ADVANCED
INSTRUCTORS: JENNY DITTO & BARBARA HARVEY
Create cassorole baking dishes, jars & lids for all kinds of purposes, on a potter's wheel.
CLASS WILL COVER THE BASICS OF WHEEL THROWING FOR BEGINNERS, WHILE INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCE STUDENTS GET A REVIEW OF BASIC STEPS. BEGINNERS WILL FOCUS ON LEARNING TO CENTER CLAY ON THE WHEEL AND BASIC THROWING SKILLS, PRODUCING SMALL JARS & LID SHAPES. INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCE WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP PREVIOUS SKILLS AND INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF CLAY THROWN ON THE WHEEL TO PRODUCE ITEMS TO COOK WITH.
ALL DEMONSTRATIONS WILL BE SHOWN ON TUESDAY NIGHTS.
